2001 adoptions

Timmy~

Turned into the Montgomery County Shelter along with his Great Dane brother by a man claiming they were strays.   Thanks to the dog warden, this sweet little well trained afghan hound was turned over to rescue.   Christened Timmy, he was soon adopted as a companion to Isabella by Glenn & Barb.

   Brulee~

7 year old Brulee was surrendered to an independant rescue group in N. Ohio then turned over to AHRCO.   Initial reports of behavior problems were resolved with treatment for a major ear infection.   Brulee now enjoys life as companion to Sally the human, Nacoma the Husky, and Whiskers the cat.        Rainbow Bridge

   Jenna~

Abanonded at a boarding kennel at age 6, It was several months before Jenna finally made her way through rescue to become the queen of the coach in her new home.

 Shimmie ~

After years of abuse and neglect, Shimmie has found his angels.   For more on  shimmie

 

Gracie Louise ~

Abandoned at the shelter as a puppy, Gracie was adopted immediately.  She enjoyed a good life with her family until changes were made and Gracie didn't fit anymore.  At 2 years old she came to rescue.   Adopted by her foster family, Grace enjoys family life and is learning that brushes and grooming can be fun.

 

Azuki ~

Taken to the shelter when her family moved to a "no pets" environment, 2 year old Azuki came to rescue underweight and Heart worm positive.  Her  foster family found her so sweet, they adopted her 4 hours of her arrival.  Today she is recovered from her HW treatment and is enjoying life.

 

  Lady ~

It broke her owners heart to part with her sweet 10 year old Lady, but circumstances prevailed and Lady found herself in rescue.  Adopted, Lady loves life with her stay at home Mom,  and her companion afghan hound.
