Macho ~
Poor Macho, or perhaps that
should be lucky boy Macho. When he arrived with his uncles Mr.
Moon and Zues he was so shy, yet he bonded immediately, with foster Dad, Mr.
Al. And no matter how hard we tried, we could not find the perfect
home for Macho. As the weeks went by, Macho became even more dependant
on Mr. Al, while at the same time, his personality began to show through.
He became the comedian, amusing his foster family with his antics, until
finally, unable to deny the bond between Mr. Al and Macho, Ms Carmel,
admitted that Macho was home to stay. Macho is now happily
established as a permanent resident at Camp Carmel.

Agatha ~
Agatha thought so poorly of her
previous home, she ran away from it. Wandering the streets of Huntington,
WV, she happened upon a young man with a cookie. Tired, sick and hungry,
she allowed herself to be captured. Shocked at her condition, Jason
Aylsworth and Nickey Spry, two
veterinary
technicians with big hearts,
took their charge to work with them. Christened "Agatha" by the hospital
staff, she was immediately treated for sarcoptic mange, various parasites,
(fleas, worms etc). We guess Agatha to be about 3 years old. It appears
she has been used for breeding.
After many
weeks at Kentucky's Camp Cook, Aggie has found her forever home with AHRCO's
friends Cris,
Diane, C.Mystic and Teddy in N. Michigan.
