Our orphans live as a family members in foster homes until chosen for adoption

 

To be eligible to adopt from Afghan Hound Rescue Central Ohio you must reside in one of the following states.  Ohio,  Indiana, Kentucky or West Virginia. too new for photos. NEW ARRIVAL ~ Dolly~ 3 yr old black mask apricot girl.  Spayed, current on vaccinations.   Dolly needs a fenced yard.   No small dogs - Dolly thinks little fluffy things are toys.    Might be okay with a cat that is used to living with sighthounds.   Malcolm ~   3 yr old  Malcolm is one of the Indy4   He is sweet, lovable and would like to find a new couch to share.   He is used to having the companionship of other sight hounds and we would love to find him a home where he can continue to interact with them. Malcolm does suffer from Demodex, however it is under control and should not be an issue in a stress free environment.   He does respond well treatment should an outbreak occur.   Demodex is NOT contagious - it is a skin condition related to the immune system and is passed from the mother within a few days of birth.   Sadly, Malcolm and his littermates have all inherited the condition.  If you are interested in adopting Malcolm, please contact us at ahrco@columbus.rr.com
