Nigel

Bred for the show ring, Nigel has excellent confirmation and is an outstanding representative of the breed, however, he proved too shy for the show ring, and was surrendered to rescue in 2002 when his owners refused to return him to his breeder.   Adopted with permission from his co-breeder, Nigel lives happily at AHRCO headquarters with his companion, 12.5 year old  retired showgirl, HRH Mahar's Princess Penelope (pointed) and his best buddy, Zachariah the cat.

Note - January 2008 - It is now 27 months since Penny received her pacemaker.  While she has slowed down some she continues to do well.    She continues to rule the household and graciously shares with us human.
